The Dean’s Advisory Council (Council) is an advisory board to the Dean of The Ohio State University College of Optometry (College). Individuals representing various segments of the community–business, community leaders, health providers, policy makers and others—who are interested in contributing to the success of the College’s education, research, and service initiatives were invited to serve. Council members are representative of the age, ethnic, gender, racial, and economic make-up of the constituencies that interface with the College. The Council will help the Dean respond more effectively to the ever-changing needs of students, faculty, staff, and the community.
