The Binocular Vision and Pediatrics (BVP) Forum is a unique, day-long conference that focuses on binocular vision and pediatrics education for eye care professionals.

Dr. Katherine Weise, OD, MBA, FAAO - University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry
Dr. Kathy Weise got her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University before graduating with her doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. She earned her MBA from UAB in 2004. She currently the Director for UAB Pediatric Optometry Services, Vice-Chair of the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group, and the national Co-Protocol Chair for Myopia Treatment Study 1, PEDIG’s low-dose atropine study. She is also the creator and co-director of BlazerVision, the deliberately collaborative effort between UAB Optometry and UAB Ophthalmology that supports all UAB Athletics. She is the team eye doctor for UAB Football and also works closely with Children's of Alabama to provide vision services related to concussion.
