The Ohio State University College of Optometry, a recognized leader in optometric education, clinical research and patient care, is seeking a skilled clinician to join our clinical care faculty.
The main teaching responsibility would be in our Primary Care Service. This clinic is the foundation of our optometric clinical training and we are committed to high quality training and patient care in this field. Clinical service in specialty clinics like contact lens and advanced ocular care is also possible. We are seeking a candidate who will be an enthusiastic member of our clinical faculty, participate in patient care, actively engage in clinical teaching, and serve as a role model for our profession at the college, state and national level.
The successful candidate should have an OD (or equivalent) degree, be eligible for an Ohio optometric license, and have completed an accredited residency program or have equivalent experience.
The candidate should be committed to the training of future clinicians, and enjoy working with a team of faculty. Associated faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
