Brandon: My favorite thing is the small community, but also you're in a way bigger community of Ohio State as a whole. So, you really get that big university feel, but also, you know, when you need more attention, just to your student life and your overall well-being, there's so many resources within the college that are really just specific for you and your classmates, which I really appreciate.
My advice for anyone looking at OSU is just be able to appreciate how collaborative the culture is, collaborative versus competitive, because we are going to all be working together.
And that's one of the reasons I really appreciate coming here, and I feel like from my classmates, to faculty, all up and down the chain, they've all been so willing to help us succeed. SVOSH is something that I'm really passionate about, being able to provide Optometric services to underprivileged communities has always been something I've been interested in, and think it's really fulfilling as well.
Inclusion to me is recognizing our differences and also celebrating it as well. And I think all of the opportunities here, everyone has been really eager, and shows a lot of interest in me as a person and my background, you know, from my race to my orientation. I appreciate it a lot.
