Joshua: Ohio State has world-class faculty when it comes to Optometry. It's incredible because when you're having them in class, you don't really get to see all of their accomplishments, all that they've done throughout research, how well known they are, and respected they are in the field. They're just sort of this this person who's teaching you, and they're really personable, but then when you get to go out to conferences and see them present to lectures full of other optometrists, other researchers, it really makes an impact on you.
It makes you feel like you're in a great place where you're really you're being taught by the people who who have been doing this for so long and are experts at it. Since day one at the interview, you could feel that despite how large this place is, there's this really small, tight-knit, family-like atmosphere within, so you really get the best of both worlds. You get all the resources and opportunities of this large research university, but then all the benefits of this small, nurturing environment within the College of Optometry.
