Optometry Lab is Green Buckeye Certified
Scarlet and Gray … and Green! The Ohio State University College of Optometry’s basic science laboratory has been awarded Green Buckeye Certification. This campus-wide program informs and encourages implementation of best practices to improve the sustainability performance of campus laboratories. The program includes resource conservation education, recycling and waste reduction, energy efficiency, green purchasing, and health and wellness. By becoming Green Buckeye Certified, the basic science laboratory, under the direction of Dr. Heather Chandler, demonstrated leadership and commitment to Ohio State’s sustainability goals.
