Emmanuel Owusu receives OLERF fellowship

Emmanuel Owusu

Dr. Emmanuel Owusu, a graduate research associate in The Ohio State University College of Optometry, received the the 2016 Ohio Lions Eye Research Foundation Fellowship.

In his project, Investigating the Neural Basis for Proximal Vergence Eye Movements, he will attempt to determine which areas of the brain are responsible for proximal convergence eye movements by measuring blood oxygenation level dependent signals in subjects during fMRI scans.

Owusu is working with his advisors, Drs. Marjean Kulp and Nicklaus Fogt, in this study.
