Maureen Plaumann selected to receive Arene T. Wray Fellowship

Maureen Plaumann, OD, a student in the vision science graduate program at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, has been named this year's recipient of the Arene T. Wray Fellowship.

The Arene T. Wray Fellowship was created to promote optometric research and as such, is specifically designated for graduate students who 'can do the best work in optometry'. Dr. Plaumann's dedication to research has been evident in her pursuit of advancements in the treatment of amblyopia during her time as PhD student at OSU. As the winner, she will receive a monetary scholarship.
